What we collect

When you create an account and use Tulboxx, we collect:

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed)
Business information: company name, trade type, and any details you enter about clients, jobs, estimates, and invoices
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the app. Used to improve the product.
Payment information: billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card number.

How we use it

To provide the Tulboxx service: generating estimates, building Today's List, sending invoices
To send transactional emails: account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts
To improve the product: aggregate usage patterns help us prioritize features
We do not sell your data. We do not use your client data to train AI models without your consent.

AI and your data

When you use the AI estimate feature, the job details you enter are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the proposal. Anthropic's data processing is governed by their terms. We do not retain your job details for AI training purposes beyond what is necessary to complete the request.

Your client's data

When you enter client names, addresses, and job details into Tulboxx, you are responsible for having appropriate rights to process that information. We store it on your behalf and do not use it for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

Read receipts

When you send a client a proposal link, Tulboxx records when that link is opened and displays that information to you. Clients are not explicitly notified that their view is tracked, but this is standard practice for professional proposals and similar to email read-receipt technology.

Data storage

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. This permanently removes your account and associated data. If you need help or have questions about data deletion, email us at crew@tulboxx.com.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the app is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the app may not function correctly without them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
