Terms of Service

Using Tulboxx

Tulboxx is a business management platform for trades contractors. By creating an account, you agree to use the service for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tulboxx. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.

Your content

You own the content you enter into Tulboxx: your client data, estimates, invoices, and business information. By using the service, you grant Tulboxx a limited license to store and process that content to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the proposals and invoices you send. Tulboxx generates AI-assisted content as a starting point. Review and edit before sending to clients.

AI-generated content

The AI estimate feature generates proposal language based on the details you provide. The output is a starting point, not legal or professional advice. You are responsible for ensuring that estimates, scope of work, warranties, and pricing you send to clients are accurate and appropriate for your trade and jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Tulboxx to send spam, fraudulent estimates, or misleading proposals
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Billing and cancellation

The free plan includes 5 AI estimates and does not require a credit card. Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Founding rate subscribers lock in their rate for as long as their subscription remains active. If you cancel a founding rate subscription and later resubscribe, the founding rate does not apply.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you have a billing issue or believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us at crew@tulboxx.com and we'll make it right.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, fix bugs, or update features at any time. We will provide notice of significant downtime when possible.

Limitation of liability

Tulboxx is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue or business disputes with your clients.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and update the date above. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
